Bathroom begins
We’ve needed a new bathroom forever. The current monstrosity is dusky pink with lilac painted tiles and, well, the rest is just to hideous to describe. But since my sis owes me some favours, and her fella is a dab hand with plumbing and woodwork and electrical stuff, they are going to replace it for us.
We’re doing it on the cheap, using ex-display units and bargains on the internet, but I reckon it’ll look fab when it’s done. We’re getting a nice white sink unit with cupboards and shelves, and a P-shaped bath, and we’re getting proper shelves in the airing cupboard. I like shelves. Haven’t chosen the tiles yet or the lino, but that’s the fun bit I suppose - I’m currently thinking black and white, but we’ll see. We should be tackling it in the new few weeks. Very exciting!! Hopefully, this will lift the curse of the pink bathroom.
